How do you think of digital?

First thought that comes to my mind is convenience.

Like when I first learned I could communicate to people across the country in a chatroom on AOL. Or buy a pair of new shoes on eBay at a fraction of the cost in stores.

Fast forward to today, and most of my time is spent behind a computer.

But some companies still struggle to adopt a digital mindset.  

Digital transformation is more than changing marketing or investing in a CRM.

It’s a different way of thinking. It evolves thinking about how the customer finds, shops, experiences, and remembers your business.

Of course, in most cases, that does involve technology.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised the last few months. I’ve worked with a couple brands who’s origin dates back decades, before digital.

But, they saw the writing on the wall. They were ahead of the curve and made investments to transform their businesses from analog to digital.

Now that we’ve broken down the barriers of using the Internet to buy cloths and shoes, or use for dating, or shop for groceries, brands need to continue to modernize their businesses to create convenience.

Every brand should be a technology inspired brand.
